Don't forget, the FCC went w/ title II because Verizon sued to block net


neutrality in the original attempt at regulation. Telcos won the case, but lost by forcing reclassification as a utility. This is of their own doing.

As for net neutrality, I absolutely support it. All it says is that ISPs cannot discriminate based on the type of data moving through their segment of the network. (e.g. Comcast can't slow your Netflix feed to a crawl to undercut a competitor).

It ensures that ISPs don't abuse their (often government granted & protected) control of marketplaces. Many fight tooth and nail in courtrooms to prevent other potential providers from offering services in an area. That's not a free market.
