Rural broadband (and the lack thereof) is another issue


The free market has not delivered broadband opportunities to the rural countryside due to the high capital costs and low density.

In the 1930's, government had to intervene and offer incentives to get electricity to rural America. It seems government will need to play a role to get true broadband to rural America also.

It will be interesting to see where this falls into the plans for infrastructure spending as that plan is developed in Washington.
