I loved living in Memphis when I was that age. Admittedly that was a

couple of decades or so ago, but lots to offer, decent weather, great music and food, right on the Mississippi, and has certainly grown since I was there. Easy to get around and very affordable too. Some bad areas you avoided for sure, not nearly like what you see in other similar cities.

And as the locals liked to tell you - 6 to 10 hours from anywhere. You could be on the Gulf, in Atlanta, St. Louis, Chicago, New Orleans, Nashville, etc., Ozark mountains, etc. which I would think appeals to millennials. What they didn't tell you was you were 3 hours from everywhere! (except Little Rock and the home of a philandering POTUS but if you're already in Memphis, why bother.)
