I have a problem with Hobby Lobby because that essentially extends
religious beliefs to a corporation which is patently absurd. This was a logical extension of the despicable Citizens United decision. The idea that corporations have the same rights as human beings is a radical departure from most of American jurisprudence though it has been happening over time with smaller decisions that were then used for precedent, erroneously I believe. All of which is to say that's one reason this should be a slam dunk. That and public accommodations is a very easy topic to understand and to comply with.
As to how any belief is supported by scripture....WTF? Scripture of any kind really has very little to do with the law. Do we really want judges parsing that as a basis for decisions? I sure as hell don't!
