But I really do disagree. None of it is fake news. Now more than ever, reinforced by the way the world's worst dictators are adopting it, nobody should tolerate that term. It should be the new "n" word. Out of bounds.

That doesn't mean that the press is free of bias, and in fact having some bias against power is part of "speaking truth to power" as they say. The main job of the press is to be a watchdog - at least as important as providing information.

You talk above about how the press should take responsibility for #FAKENEWS!. I totally disagree with you on that point, but still leaves me scratching my head when you say here that "well, the press used to be anti-repub, but boy they take it so far with Trump - that's why I'm so mad now". Come on man - Trump isn't to blame for that? Do we have to rehash the opening of his admin with days long arguments about inauguration crowd sizes? That's just one example.

Trump is the reason that nobody has ever gotten more bad press!
