Well the people benefiting from that top rate cut (the top 1%)
pay as much in taxes as the bottom 96% combined. So you shouldn't feel too angry at the rich... they're more than pulling their weight when it comes to taxes.
FWIW (since I assume this is the next question), the top 1% earned 20% of total income compared to the bottom 96% which earned 2/3 of all income. So the rich currently pay taxes at a rate that is 3x disproportionate to their share of the income.
And don't worry, there's no way taxes are raised on the middle class in 2024. They'll extend the cuts or make permanent... just like they've done every other time this gimmick was used to get a tax plan approved.
