Or if you think you know based on that survey, then you're an idiot.

I suspect you're actually right that Apple is a small minority because that's not the way things work. Companies don't raise salaries because they have more money. They raise salaries because they need to do so to attract and retain employees and remain competitive. But taking a survey in which 91% of the companies do not respond or respond with a "no comment" or generic non-answer (results you will get from just about any such survey no matter the question) and attempting to draw any conclusion is just beyond stupid.
