That being what the pro-gun folks presume to actually DO to solve these sorts of problems.

It's all fine and good to posit that the widespread availability of firearms isn't the problem, or even that they are so many out there that it's useless to consider trying to take them off the streets. Great. Go ahead, we can even roll with how it's too soon to talk about this because making emotional decisions is bad.

But even in an imaginary world where we can go more than a week or two without another shooting spree, the level headed solutions never seem to materialize from the pro-gun camp.

There's just ... nothing.

Other than the ubiquitous thoughts and prayers. It does seem, however, that God is leaving this one up to us.

If the GOP is tired of being accused of not caring, they might consider acting like they actually do.
