I think this is probably more right than wrong

The anecdotal evidence I'm hearing about bullying is discouraging. When I was in school 25 years ago, educators were completely clueless when it came to bullying. (Some of them have literally apologized to my parents for their ignorance during my childhood.) Now they seem to understand it and talk a good game about it, but it is still happening more than they want to admit.
