So it's OK if she spurs on Armageddon? That Armageddon was supposed to
happen because of reduced revenues right? And yet that's exactly what she's doing, reducing revenues. So it's OK if she participates in the "brazen theft from the middle class" by using a loophole (not all states allowed the pre-payment of property tax) that allows her to continue to pay a lower Fed tax rate on the same income than would tax payers in lower SALT tax states? I guess she's not so concerned with that "brazen theft" when it comes at the hands of the middle class in lower SALT states paying higher Fed income tax on the same income. A loophole which is not readily available to that same middle class she's so "concerned" about that doesn't have a bunch of cash laying around to pre-pay property taxes.
She's not a hypocrite for using the tax code as is allowed, she's a hypocrite because her actions are doing exactly the things she claimed were so horrible about the tax bill. And she made those disingenuous criticisms strictly for political gain (since her actions are showing it had nothing to do with principle). To use your Dean Smith analogy this would be akin to him railing on the Pack Line as being bad for basketball to gain recruiting and poll advantages afforded the blue bloods, while then playing the four corners and claiming that's just what smart people do.
Doesn't seem very "Patriotic" by Nancy's own critique.
