Excellent discussion WahooRQ...we may not see eye to eye very often
but it's nice to have some cordial discussion about controversial topics without mudslinging and name calling.
I work in Banking Compliance, so I was somewhat familiar with RESPA and the PHH ruling. I have varying opinions on the CFPB and the Dodd Frank Act overall so I'll be curious to see where things will be headed with this most recent ruling.
And I agree with you wholeheartedly on the political idealogues comment. I think that Justices should attempt to stick to their interpretations of the law and not allow personal or political opinions interfere. Likewise I yearn for a time when our politicians can put party allegiances aside and simply work together on agendas that will benefit the people they represent.
I've always been more of a Moderate...lean Republican on most topics but I would not consider myself Conservative by any means. People piss me off on both sides of the fence constantly and it feels like we're caught in the middle of an epic tug-of-war match with no end in sight.
