I think yall all would be really surprised at the levels of drunk and how

drinks affect different people.

its what makes this such a hard target. i knew a girl that if she had one drink she passed out. her BAC couldnt have been even close to what it takes most people to pass out but she could not drive after a tablespoon of liquor. i also know people that can drink a case of beer in a half day and you would never be able to tell. the 0.08 is an arbitrary number and does not actually medically tell us anything about how alcohol is affecting that person. plenty of people are just fine at 0.08 and plenty of people are not.

but we have to set a number so we did. its a good thing but those differences are why there are levels of punishment state to state
