And inferences are important. Of course she didnt say, "UVA produces...

racists!" She got about as close to that as you can without saying it. I feel like we must be watching different videos!

And for the record, Im all about confronting my and my University's 'uncomfortable truths'. Just not completely unsubstantiated ones. We should all question ourselves, our motives and understand that we all inevitably have biases (racial ones included).
You know where I learned that?
UVA - in the basement of Gilmer taking repeated Implicit Association Tests (IAT). An instrument UVA helped create! I wonder if this mayor has heard of the IAT. I doubt she realizes the work being done on subconscious bias at the very University she is insulting.
