Because Democracy dies in Dem dishonesty and disingenuousness. :-)

Again, I'm not defending his suggestion that PR was some awesome performance (although TBF I think he said it was the best of the three hurricane responses given the other circumstances around them relative to TX & FL - being an island, poor infrastructure, local gov't problems, etc.), nor saying it couldn't and shouldn't have been better. Only that to have an honest discussion, first you must be honest. And claiming those 3K deaths are solely due to a poor response, and that this response was because they're "brown people" falls far short of that honest bar IMO. As would claiming "heckuva a job Brockie", but just to clarify, JohnHoo only claimed the response was "OK", not great. So when the attacks on Trump are dishonest or purposefully deceiving, yes, I do think that merits defending him.
