That from the Atlantic - we all know she stands for "more permissive immigration". And abolishing ICE. But nothing suggest favoring "open borders".

The Federalist is just a hit piece. And even it doesn't claim "Open Borders". The entire relevant passage:

Under Obama this was a question full of hard choices. Interesting, because as a general statement, it debunks the whole fear tactic - dems in power certainly didn't favor "Open Borders". And abolition of ICE does not equal amnesty - that's nonsense. We've only had ICE since 2002, and we've had borders a lot longer than that. It shows nothing about Ocasio-Cortez's stances, it just criticizes what it claims are her stances, and doesn't even claim "Open Borders" as one of them. Turnstiles suggests a border, and we all know she wants more liberal policies.

And thanks for the update on Ellison's wardrobe at a campaign rally. I mean, I'm not going to get into a protracted defense of the dem new generation of lefties, but a t-shirt does not a platform make.

Anyway, thanks for the links, but I'm pretty sure they refute your entire case, and certainly they refute the notion that dems in power would "open the borders", which is the fear tactic at play here.
