It is. My take away from that is things are generally

*not okay* for a sizable portion of the country, regardless of traditional metrics overall like good GDP or low unemployment. And that's really serious, people thinking South America is a better deal, or that Trump will deliver them, that thought process. There's a fundamental lack of faith/trust and a mindset shift toward hopelessness- not for everyone, but for a chunk. Trump hasn't been an answer (shocker), Bernie isn't (though I favor universal health care and think that's a piece here), but the same baseline anxiety and discomfit that existed in 2016 and its prelude is still with us. I feel like certain things need to change radically, and certain things need to be more "conservative" centrist. Radicalism overall will be a disaster, but the alternative static, "centrist" position on everything won't necessarily hold either.
