Subjective judgments are made all the time by companies to better...

their user experience. Naturally, those who have been censored do not believe their user experience is improved in those cases, but the majority of other users are. And in business, maximizing one's customer base is an imperative.

Look at UWS as a classic example of "customers" leaving a platform due to the effects of a hands-off moderation policy. Why do so few people post there these days? Or consider: why is 4chan not a mainstream forum?
