Yes, TBH. Because there is no long history of whiteface minstrel shows.

Not saying you have to agree with the super-sensitivity over it, but the notion that black folks don't have the same cultural sensitivity issues over use of "whiteface" is not a particularly compelling argument. IMO anyway.
