guy like Bloomberg who started from nothing and developed something that everyone in finance, and many outside who just want news in real time, don't think they can live without. Who is Liz Warren, or the Bern, to dictate how much reward should accrue to someone who developed something so groundbreaking?

I'm not talking about harsh words for bigotry, for purveyors of propaganda, for those who call journalistic integrity "fake news", or any of those things where we should not be taking the high road. We should be in the gutter going at it over those things. Warren is making it her point to make very successful people with no ethical or legal issues in their background (meaning nothing suggests their gains are ill-gotten) a symbol of wealthy elitism and abuse.

And for years now, the Chris Rocks of the world will not play college campuses, which in my day was the best place for a comedian to experiment. Or rioting violently to prevent the Milos of the world from even speaking.

So you are pushing back against something else. Not saying you are a died in the wool populist, but Liz Warren is, and that's what populists do - paint with far to broad a brush.

I think Liz as the nominee - two populists out populisting each other, coming up with scapegoats to demonize - it will both help cement Trumpism as the new norm in America, and re-elect Trump. A Trump who had been impeached, acquitted by the senate, and re-elected. Which is the worst of all possible scenarios if you don't like Trump.

Overall, we need to find a balance between pushing back against Trumpism by all means necessary, including down in the gutter, and just using populism to engage in our own form of Trumpist-demagoguery. Warren does not do that.
