I suspect the country will survive 4 more years of Trump, as it will 4 years of Warren if that's what we get. Warren's re-election chances IMO would be very difficult - chances are we won't get through 2024 without a recession (although 4 years ago I thought the same about 2020, so you never know), and Warren's platform is tailor made for "blame me!!!"

You're making the bullshit argument that people always make to refute strong disagreements about candidates. I do think there is a better chance that NATO and the EU won't survive to 2030 if Trump is re-elected, because he is an unrepentant nationalist who endlessly puts pressure on all post WW II institutions. But all those raising hell about Obama saw virtually no change to their personal lives either. Except of course for all those who came out of the woodwork to defend Ocare when Trump seemed poised to take it away - for all its foibles, Ocare gave the oppty to HC coverage for the first time to 10s of millions who had never had that oppty before.

There are many, many reasons that I view Trump as a menace.
