Say what you will about Trump, dealing with China trade practices has


.been a long time coming. I don't personally like the guy, but him taking on the crap the Chinese require of US businesses to do business there is one of the best things he has done as president. Knowing that it may hurt our current economy for future gains, that is something most politicians don't do. Given the size of the future Chinese market, now was the time to do this. Now...whether in the long run it is effective, as you say, remains to be seen, but certainly beats same ole, same ole BS lip services that most politicians would have deployed because they would be afraid doing anything significant would hurt our economy, and thus their re-election chances.
