Right. Including all those regions that would have no say without the


electoral college. If NY, MA, CA, and maybe one of two other states are all in on a pres, he wouldn't have to take anyone else into account.

There are two elected branches of the federal govt, and there are protections against tyrannies of the majority in selecting both. As they should - the president is the most powerful individual in govt.
