I’m gonna take the other side of that bet. I know I could be wrong.

I really hope I’m not, but I could be. The nation has mobilized like never before in my lifetime. For all the irrational runs on TP, overall, I think the responses have been largely rational, but extreme, preventative measures. There are very few opportunities for large gatherings of people. Sports, entertainment, politics, business - all are promoting preventative measures. In ny, mass transit runs, but ridership is down dramatically. Businesses and schools are telecommuting. It’s a pretty amazing response.

So we’ll see who’s right. I’m sure we both hope I am. Trump’s leadership may still cost him and repubs dearly, but I’m betting that deaths not only don’t get into the 100s of 1000s, I don’t think it gets into the 10s of 1000s. Not sure it even gets into the 1000s.

It’ll get worse, no doubt, but we’re not even at 100 in this country yet, right? And the whole country is staying home.
