FWIW, I got my job pared way back, and I am working quite

part-time from home.

Furthermore, I have damaged lungs from a long history with asthma. I'd probably get very ill from this disease.

Tuesday, I filed for partial unemployment. I have never filed before in my life. I'd be happy to find additional part-time work, but with Covid-19 raging, I really should self isolate as I am doing.

And I wouldn't mind if the Fed capped unemployment benefits equal to the old salary, but I do think that would create a fairly massive reporting clusterfuck, given how slow the VA website was working Tuesday.

I, like so many others, just want life to get back to some semblance of normal. And I am grateful the Federal government is taking steps quickly to reduce the complete fear at not making the May mortgage payment.
