I think it's real. I don't think it's a huge deal generally, but I don't
like the idea of people having their livelihood destroyed by indiscretions that occurred 10, 20, 30 years ago, often times when they were young adults or teenagers.
Not that this example has to do with "destroying someone's livelihood", but I thought it totally sucked that the guy who raised a bunch of money with a gameday sign with his Venmo account asking for beer money who then donated all off the money to the local children's hospital was exposed for 2 inappropriate tweets he sent when he was 16 causing him to be dropped by Anheuser Busch. Why does anyone feel the need to dig for shit like that on some random person. I think that sucks, and I hate that about today's culture.
