Death rates seems meaningful too. 2/3 of GA deaths are from age 70 and up.


Hospitalization rates is good info (thanks 00) but iirc that can range from being checked in beyond ER to the ICU on a ventilator.

Not that any death isn't tragic, nor that being hospitalized is a good thing, but ultimately people want to know what are the chances this will kill me. And just how much collateral damage should we take to protect those 50 and under (for example) when their chance of dying is so low.
