I disagree with both 1 and 2.
1 - this is a brand new disease. One thing we know now but didn’t very early on is that asymptomatic people can spread the disease. That couldn’t be studied before 2020. The disease in humans didn’t show up until 2019.
2 - truth is, we still don’t know for sure how effective it is. We just have a lot of evidence suggesting that it reduces the chances that a wearer will transmit the disease. So how much of a sacrifice is that to make? A little discomfort? To maybe prevent me from being the cause of misery or death in others? I can be skeptical, but I’m a 7 yr old having a “you can’t make me!” tantrum if that prevents me from making this small sacrifice. [Post edited by hoolstoptheheels at 07/12/2020 12:07PM]
