still call themselves fiscal conservatives usually just tend to be low rent white people who think they "earn" their entitlements because they carry a job (often one that they half-ass with a bad attitude, bitch about, whine about, claim they're discriminated against for being white men if they aren't promoted, etc.) and actually believe that minorities are just sitting around popping out babies and collecting welfare checks. It's the oldest trick in the book and how Republicans got a bunch of Joe the Plumber types voting for "you didn't build that" and such for years. Still a lot of that sentiment, but now it includes "free healthcare for illegals" or something equally stupid and misinformed.
