I think Dems challenged enough of these districts and won
for us to have a pretty good understanding of what happened in the 2010 redistricting.
There is a limit though to how much a party can do this. It backfired really big time on the party of Trump once the rationale for the 53-47 districts disappeared.
At this point, you'd could give a Sharpie to Jim Jordan and Matthew Gaetz and a map of the United States and they could not gerrymander a winning house. Trump was the high water mark of GOP'ism. He was the climax of their power move. It says an awfully lot about the GOP. When they can control this country, what it looks like today is what the GOP is at its core. It isn't something appealing to educated folks, white or black, male or female.
