Also, the Government has the obligation to spend our money prudently. If it is going to provide free lunches, they should be nutritious. Likewise, food stamps should restrict obvious non-healthy items like soda, candy, chips and the like, but I digress.
But, this study does not prove its conclusion. It engages in lazy research and draws non-proved linkage, and admits so. It does not have control groups, and acknowledges it doesn’t even know who is (or is not) consuming school lunches.
This area is worthy of study, and legit researchers should take up the cause.
