Boca is right. He does take some equity risk. However, he's always angling to put most of the burden on the debt holders. He always has the option of declaring Chapter 11 while maintaining the business and still boasting about his "billions."

It's the old adage that if you owe the bank millions, the bank owns you. If you owe the bank billions, you own the bank.

Trump's always used the laws of bankruptcy to his favor. It's not illegal, but pissed off a lot of people on Wall Street. That's not in question.

It's buyer beware ... especially with Trump. He wants you to bear all the risk, which is his right ... while he gets all the upside. You're not going to attract quality money that way. Hence, his business is about working the system more than creating value.
