"Salary" implies that you are being paid in exchange for providing your


talent/expertise as a means of adding value. In Trump's case, the opposite is true. He is paid as a means of removing his "expertise" from the equation. The best way for the investors in his projects to add value is to remove him from any decision making capacity. He's made "addition by subtraction" a business model. He didn't foul up his presidency by accident. That's what he does.

He needs the Billy Beane to David Justice speech from moneyball.
