My vote is surely in that tally, but I moved to NC after 2016.


NC would have no way of knowing that I voted in Indiana for the 2016 general. So, not all of those voters are people that have turned 18 since 2016 and are voting in their first election or people that are coming off the sidelines after sitting 2016 out.

Some are for sure. The fact that there’s already over 1M of them is interesting. That it looks like they’ll make up 20%-25% of the 2020 voting population just means less reliance can be placed on what went down in prior elections in the state.
