...the problem to me is that it opens up the opportunity for shenanigans -- most specifically, what actually counts as a valid/legal vote. I won't rehash prior debates we've had here, but one glaring example is the Dems push to void the requirement for signature matching on mail-in ballots, which is just voiding any chance of validating their legitimacy (not that the signature match is sufficient to begin with).

If crap like that starts happening, or if they start saying postmarks aren't needed (also currently being challenged) or if they start saying there's no deadline for votes arriving/being counted, then we're going to have a very, very serious problem. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
