The dems, if they are declared the winners of the WH,


Need to deemphasize wokeness, and reemphasize substance. Wokeness is so much about form over substance. You may recall several years ago when Obama was making this point on a podcast, and dared to utter the full n-word to make it. And was of course attacked from his left flank over that. Dems are going to have to be willing to slap these people down.

I continue to think “defund the police” is a big reason Trump over performed with non-white voters. The dem party needs to take a stand against that and things like it.

That’s part of the way to make Taibbi wrong, which imo he is often.
