Polling is unreliable--that's a major takeaway from this election


But, data like this (below) doesn't rely on polls. Maybe an outlier, maybe not. I read somewhere else that Trump made huge gains among Hispanics in Florida this time, offsetting his losses with white voters. Who knows? But worth thinking about. Historically (and broadly speaking) the workers have been Democrats and the bosses have been Republicans. Is that changing?

"Starr County, Texas, the county with the highest percentage of Hispanic or Latino voters — above 95% — voted for Hillary Clinton by a 60-point margin in 2016, but went for Biden by just five points in 2020."
