I agree - the dems rejected their extreme, the repubs are a


Cult to their extreme right now.

But there are some breaks. Certain dedicated Trump cronies in govt remain loyal to his fantasies, but several others have distanced themselves from baseless attempts to discredit the election - Rubio, notably, who has been a Trump stooge at times.

People like Cruz and Graham will do the math at some point and distance themselves from Trumpism if Trumpism can continue to be sidelined. If they think it continues to hold sway on their primary voters, then they will probably stay in the cult. But I think that will potentially whittle down.

Trump can overplay his hand too. If dems play their cards right, then more and more might finally start hearing nothing but static and noise out the Trump family.
