It's not that hard to figure out if you ask me. A large swath of middle

American white men have been completely radicalized and are no longer on board with democracy, because they view themselves more as a "tribe" that is entitled to rule "their" country (and allow the rest of us to live in it under their terms) than they do a component part of a representative democracy. They can see that they are outnumbered and outvoted, and are scared shitless about that, now officially turning violent.

This goes back decades, but really picked up steam when Obama was elected twice. That led to them seeking not a party leader, but a "strongman" dictator, which was the persona Trump gave them -- basically modeled after name your third world cult of personality type. All egged on by the Fox News/Limbaugh/now even worse echo chambers that these people live in, where the border is overrun by criminals, cities are on fire (because, you know, "the blacks"), white men are constantly victims of discrimination, Christians are constantly victims of discrimination, etc. They -- or at least enough of them to sound the alarm bells -- are now officially willing to wage a war of insurrection and kill police officers to get their way. They would kill lots of us. These are the people you caucus with if you support Donald Trump. It's probably time for a wakeup call. If you're a conservative, take your party back and send these disgusting creeps back to their mom's basements before it's too late.
