IIRC, it's pointless to try and "waddabout" last week by bringing up

civil rights protests that, in some instances, got out of hand. If BLM decides to storm the Capitol with the intent of abducting Mitch McConnell and Kamala Harris and kill members of the Capitol Police because an election didn't go their way, I'll be standing shoulder to shoulder with you denouncing the shit out of them. Of course, that will never happen and some hooligans throwing rocks at a Dunkin Donuts during a civil rights protest is in no way, shape or form analogous to it.

I'd also add that this notion of a "violent left" -- to the extent it isn't a figment of you guys' imaginations -- has never even come close to being endorsed by Democratic political leaders. This mob marched to the Capitol AFTER BEING ADDRESSED AND ENCOURAGED BY THE PRESIDENT.

That is simply outrageous and again, there is not even a halfway compelling analogy you can draw to the dreaded "Squad" or Bernie Sanders, let alone Barack Obama or Joe Biden.
