What's this?

Seems the US Army Ranger Association recognizes either as a ranger.

At least they accept as regular members - "all Rangers that have earned the U.S. Army Ranger tab, WWII Rangers, Korean War Rangers, Vietnam War Rangers, all Rangers that participated in Operations Urgent Fury, Just Cause, Desert Storm, Restore Hope, Enduring Freedom, and all Rangers who have served honorably for at least one year in a recognized Ranger unit."

Additionally, to be eligible for the Ranger Hall of Fame the individual - "must have served in a Ranger unit in combat or be a successful graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger School."

So at least there seems to be some reasonable level of leeway here, making this even more nitpicky.

I have no great love for Cotton, but again, this kind of stuff is just silly, distracting nonsense that is all about political gotcha and has nothing to do with actually governing.
