By now the Republicans should have learned the lesson about dealing with DT


and that is no matter what deal you make with him he'll break it as soon as he doesn't like something. Any backroom deals that allow him to be a kingmaker will be tempered with the likelihood that he go rogue at any time and under any circumstance. For instance, a group of top ranking Republicans could approach him now and commit to no impeachment conviction for his silence about future elections. And that will work until he doesn't agree with a Republican nominee or a policy proposal or he just gets bored and wants to stir up trouble.

If any Republican thinks getting a commitment from him on anything is a good approach then they better be prepared for the inevitable blow up. Because that is who he is.
