straight up malice. That motherfucker we had to call "president" for four years literally decided that this pandemic was his best chance to pit Americans against Democrats who were following science and making the hard choices that needed to be made to keep this thing under control. These disgusting people decided to sit back and let governors do the dirty work, then claim "reopening" which was bound to be more popular than shutdowns as their battle cry, and use it to drive a wedge between the voters and the opposition party, rather than join together to do the right thing like every other developed nation on earth did. Rather than mustering a national response, we had the "president" telling his redneck goons to take their guns to the state house and try to intimidate their governors for shutting things down and imposing mask mandates, which, again, were just plain common sense measures that should have been done on a national scale. And it was effective -- even going as far as creating some weird, childish culture war over wearing masks.

It was beyond repulsive and honestly think Trump deserved to choke to death on his own phlegm when he got infected like half a million Americans did under his sorry excuse for "leadership" rather than get hooked up with state of the art treatment. It would have been an end fitting for that despicable slug of a human being.

And still in disbelief so many people think he should still be president.
