We’ve been through a revolving wheel of justifications from you,

But not one single example of a law being broken that had any impact on the election. There is not one single example of a such a finding in court. Which is the only valid place for that. Not your partisan mind, or in partisan legislatures.

That’s how disputes are resolved peacefully in this country. That’s what you leave out of all of your whaddabouts about past election controversies, which you falsely claim helped lay the groundwork for Trump’s attempted coup in 2020, which is still ongoing. People are frequently unhappy with the verdicts of courts. They have appeals, and when those are exhausted, that’s it. Pencils down, we abide by the decision. The challenge being thrown up against the country’s future is not just about election integrity, although that’s liable to be where it all comes crashing down. Without respect for the jurisdiction of the judiciary as the final arbiter of disputes, the integrity of the Constitution and the entire country collapses.

I totally agree that almost no dem agreed with the verdict of the courts in 2000 when all appeals were exhausted. That’s where your analogies completely miss the mark - Gore conceded in spite of his own likely disagreement with the final result.

As did Hillary in 2016. Without ever actually challenging it in court. She conceded the next morning.

This year stands alone in American history, and it has nothing to do with pandemic year measures that you think were violations of laws. The fact is the repubs had their many days in court, and the result of the election stood, with no sweeping rulings by courts that laws were broken and needed to be changed.

The real threat to our national integrity, and to our democracy, is the failure of an entire party to accept that - the jurisdiction of the judicial branch to resolve disputes. And yes, that includes the determination of courts about who has standing to even bring a suit.
