Yes, but because Nassib is a good player. Been in the league for a while.

But more importantly, Nassib has said it was a total non-issue in the locker room, and that everybody including Gruden, was very supportive when he came back there a couple months after he announced it.

In other words, exactly how we all hope it would be. And not what one would expect if Gruden truly was a homophobe.

BTW, Richie Incognito is also in that locker room. If I'm not mistaken he had his own homophobic issues when he was at Miami, much worse and more public than what Gruden did. I don't say that as a way of suggesting Gruden shouldn't be gone. I don't think he and the Raiders had much choice after the latest round of emails. But I guess it is possible to get redemption, and Incognito isn't even that good of a player (albeit was expected to start if not hurt this year).
