Looks like I really triggered the village mouthbreathers. This story is

not new -- they have been downsizing across the country and last time this was discussed think they had something like 50 stores in the Bay Area (don't quote me on that, and certainly don't care enough to look it up but it was a lot).

If they are closing a few additional stores because they keep getting shit stolen, fine. I will stand corrected. Still not going to read JMQ's white power blogs.

I will say, as one who is regularly in SF (or at least was pre-pandemic) it's a whole different level of crazy out there. Beautiful and vibrant city that takes tolerance of things like homelessness and drug use to an absurd extreme. I don't think most of us "libbruls" are on board with that. They march to the beat of their own drum out there.

As my buddy and client (CEO of a tech company) said, "there's just something that doesn't sit right about paying $3 million for a condo only to have people shooting heroin and defecating outside your window."
