I got to grudgingly respect this guy and the tightrope he’s walking. How to

appear not to be a Trumpie, while somehow signaling to all the Trumpies that you’re with them. How to not be Cooch, while having all of Cooch’s beliefs.

Whatever happens, he’s managed to get within 2 weeks of Election Day without falling off. We had a guy like that out here who managed to win an election as US Senator, Cory Gardner, who never showed who he was until about four years into his term.
