homosexuality either....guys are gross... but I'm not gay. But for gays, the attraction to someone of the same sex and lack of attraction to people of the opposite sex is similar to a straight person's attraction to people of the opposite sex and lack of attraction to people of the same sex. It's who they are. And how they were born, and created... by God, if you're inclined to believe we were all created by God.

So if you don't support someone for who they are and how they were created, what does that even mean?

I used to be of the "being gay is a choice" mindset, which then shifted to, well maybe it's not a choice, but acting on it is a choice (not sure if that's where you are), but as I've gotten to know more and more gay people throughout my life, that changed. The real turning point for me was when a good childhood friend came out as gay. He was the absolutely last person I would have guessed. A tough kid, from a rough working class upbringing. He played sports, got into fights, dated girls... the polar opposite of the effeminate gay stereo type. His whole family was kind of Virginia Beach "rednecky" and not the type to be accepting of gays. He had every reason to not "choose" to be gay. But he didn't choose to be gay. That's who he is. So what does not supporting who he is mean?
