Thoughts on Virginia that go against the false equivalency of our 2 parties

Terry McAuliffe conceded in a timely fashion in a close race

Democratic pundits are saying Terry ran a terrible campaign and Youngkin ran a very good campaign. Nobody is making up lies about the election being stolen, or claiming irregularities in red districts.

Counter to predictions here (@Hazer) the democrats and Fairfax are not gearing up teams of evil and scary lawyers to file lawsuits and "steal" this election

The D's aren't ramming through gerrymandered districts while they're in control of the state, they actually passed a law to try and achieve fair and bipartisan districts

The D's aren't stripping the governor of power, or doing any other sour grapes bullshit as they lose control of the state

The D's aren't ramming through voting legislation that will make it harder to vote in rural districts

Fictitious culture war issues like CRT continue to play well with the R base
