I’ve never made that statement and I don’t know of anyone who has.
It is a legal and scholarly theory that essentially re-examines history through a lens that looks at the impacts on people of color from the historical events, enacted laws, and other actions of the dominant white majority rule, whether intended or not.

It is not part of the formal documented public school curriculum in the state of Virginia which means it is not directly taught. I certainly hope history teachers in Virginia public schools are teaching more accurate and inclusive history than what I was taught. But it’s not about whether you subscribe to that notion or not, it’s what is real. It’s not part of the public school curriculum.
So what some people have been saying does not exist, isn’t CRT, but rather the supposed reindoctrination of kids that’ gop mouthpieces are claiming is going on in schools using it.Those are fear tactics designed to appeal to people who think the white race is losing its rightful Ground in this country
