I don’t think I’ll agree with lifting the SALT deduction. If this bill goes through, it will require more revenue, and that will not be compatible with a windfall for those in high SALT states, which it would generally be except for the highest earners.

Target it - taxpayers in the brackets that will see increased rates should get some relief on the SALT side. But that should be the extent of it, at most.
